«Lo que les da miedo es que siempre estamos posicionados como una provincia muy cara, estamos todos al valor del petróleo, cuando no es el que toda la provincia tiene. Eso es lo que les da un poquito de miedo, la mayoría de la gente que por ahí ha aceptado venirse es porque le gusta la tranquilidad y el estado de los hospitales», manifestó la directora provincial de Recursos Humanos de Salud, Filipponi al sitio rionegrino.
Mariana Casullo, jefa de internación de Pediatría del hospital Castro Rendón, coincide con la funcionaria, y asegura que el déficit se debe «principalmente el alto costo de vida de la provincia. El sistema de salud era tentador porque te ofrecía casas y esas casas se fueron vendiendo en los años del sobischismo. Un profesional que recién se inicia tiene que pagar un alquiler arriba de los 14.000 pesos. El sistema de salud no es atractivo».
Las áreas criticas son: medicina general, ginecología y pediatría. Según los números oficiales, es necesario cubrir 100 puestos en las distintos campos del sistema público en el ámbito provincial.
